Individual Therapy for Adults in Utah
A place to make sense of what you’re carrying and move toward what matters to you.
Life can change on the outside before you feel ready on the inside. You may be navigating grief, trauma, a difficult relationship, a changing body, or a new season of life. You may understand why a pattern began and still want help with how to respond differently now.
I’m Brijet Beazer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Brije the Gap Therapy. I offer individual psychotherapy for adults in Utah, primarily through telehealth. My approach combines thoughtful exploration with practical ways to make change in daily life. We begin where you are.
To ask about working together: call 801-210-0589 or email hello@brijethegap.com. Share your name, a way to reach you, and a brief message. Please leave private health details out of your initial email or voicemail. I’ll reply with next steps.
Who I work with
My work is especially suited to adults who want to understand patterns beneath a current struggle and practice a different way forward. You might be:
- Moving through midlife or another transition and asking what you want the next chapter to look like.
- Healing from trauma, grief, loss, or relationships that have left you doubting yourself.
- Reconsidering old roles, expectations, boundaries, or beliefs about your worth.
- Adjusting to body changes or GLP-1 treatment and noticing unexpected emotions around food, identity, visibility, or self-trust.
- Exploring how ADHD or autism affects your relationships, identity, and everyday life.
You do not need to fit a perfect category to reach out. We can talk about what brings you here and whether my practice is a good fit.
Therapy for change that reaches beyond insight
At Brije, we honor where you have been while building toward who you are becoming. We make room for your story and work on what happens next: how to recognize a trigger, care for yourself when it appears, communicate more clearly, or take a step that reflects your values.
Depending on your needs, I draw from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parts work, and other trauma-informed approaches. We choose a pace and focus together. Therapy may involve processing difficult experiences, understanding protective patterns, practicing skills, or learning to relate to yourself with more steadiness and choice.
GLP-1 treatment, body change, and identity
A medication may change appetite or weight without resolving the feelings and beliefs attached to food, your body, or being seen by others. Change can also raise questions about identity, relationships, control, aging, or what you want your life to hold.
I offer psychotherapy for the emotional side of that experience. This support can be useful whether you are considering GLP-1 treatment, currently using it, or adjusting to changes afterward. Medical decisions, nutrition plans, and medication management remain with your prescribing and other healthcare professionals.
